Where I practice
Greetings Kaiser Permanente members! Thanks for visiting my Web page. I think it is important for you to know a little about me, as I feel that in order to have a successful doctor-patient partnership, we need to connect on a personal level. I look forward to working with you to take care of your health.
I am originally from San Diego, born and raised. I did my undergraduate training here at UCSD, then attended St. George's University for medical school, where I graduated summa cum laude. I then completed my internal medicine residency at the University of Connecticut. After graduation I returned to San Diego to be closer to family. My parents were patients of Kaiser Permanente before I moved back, and their satisfaction with the care they received was a large part of why I joined.
About my practice
I am a firm believer in preventive medicine and keeping people happy and healthy. I don't want my patients to ever feel like they should only come in to see me when they are unwell. I went in to primary care because I value continuity of care and I hope to establish long and fulfilling relationships with each and every one of my the people I care for.
How I thrive
I share in Kaiser Permanente's philosophy of health in body, mind, and spirit, and try to live my life that way. In my free time I like go stay active, whether it is running in Balboa Park or Mission Beach, going to the gym, hiking one of our countless trails, or playing sports. I am an avid San Diego sports fan, and will always support our Padres and Chargers, either at home or at the game. Most importantly though, I believe that in order to thrive you need to form and maintain meaningful and positive relationships with the people in your life.
