Where I practice
Welcome to the Kaiser Permanente family! I would like to thank you for allowing us to provide you and your family with high-quality health care.
I started working at the Kaiser Permanente Riverside Medical Center in 2005, after finishing my residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center. I was born in Canada and I am of Filipino ethnicity. I am essentially a Riverside County native; I have lived here since 1990. I went to Riverside Ramona High School, then to UC Riverside for my undergraduate degree in biology. I enjoy working out, playing basketball, snowboarding, reading, and listening to all kinds of music. I used to play the trombone in the high school marching band and also played the accordion as a child.
About my practice
Medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to connect and help people in a meaningful way, utilizing medical skills and knowledge but also listening and responding to what patients need. It is a privilege to help patients understand what concerns them, translate what they may not grasp, facilitate getting them the appropriate evaluations, and communicate with them and their families. I feel very honored that patients have entrusted me with their care, and I strive to treat them as I would my own family.
How I thrive
Maintaining balance in life is important to me. I try to balance my busy work schedule with a good diet, exercise, leisure activities, and spending time with family and friends.
