Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I truly believe I have the best job in the world. There is wonderful joy and satisfaction in knowing that I have done my best to help people in the most important aspect of their lives-their health. I grew up in Northern Ontario, Canada. I received a doctorate in biomedical sciences from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque, NM, and I completed a postdoctoral fellowship in immunotoxicology at Lovelace Medical Foundation. After receiving my doctor of osteopathic medicine from Western University in Pomona, I completed a residency in family medicine, a fellowship in geriatric medicine, and also became board certified in hospice and palliative medicine.
My grandfather was a doctor. For me, being a physician will always be the noblest of all professions.
At Kaiser Permanente, I am part of the continuing care department, which manages rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities. On occasion I will cover for palliative care and hospice care. It is not a glamorous specialty but I love it. As a physician, I will give you the best possible care I can. Every day, I try to be a better doctor than I was the day before.
Deep down we all know what we need to do to be well and stay well. Eat right, exercise, love your job, love your family, love yourself, help those around you and you will live to be a 100 years old. And if you don't make it to a 100, it still would have been worth it because you made the world a better place. Everyone needs a passion. Find your passion and thrive.
