Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I am fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente where I have wonderful colleagues. I look forward to working with you to care for your health.
I moved from Boston to Los Angeles for my residency, but fell in love with the sunny weather and made Southern California my home for good. I was born in Iran and came to the states at the age of 14. I attended UC Davis for my undergraduate degree in chemical engineering and Tufts University for medical school.
About my practice
Medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to connect and help people in a meaningful way, utilizing medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what patients need. Being a doctor allows people to share with me their fears and hopes. It is a privilege to help patients understand what concerns them, translate what they may not grasp, facilitate getting them the appropriate evaluations, and communicate with them and their families. I feel very honored that patients have entrusted me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family.
How I thrive
Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. I work out at the gym at least three to four days a week. My twin boys keep me busy on my days off. I also make it a priority to set aside time to just relax or read a good novel.
