Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. It is a pleasure to work at Kaiser Permanente and I enjoy my patients and coworkers. If given the opportunity, I will do my best to help you optimize your health.
I was born Hong Kong and immigrated to Los Angeles when I was in elementary school. I chose to become a physician mainly to help people. Being a physician was a goal since childhood. In fact, I have been a member of Kaiser Permanente since childhood, ever since my family immigrated. I joined Kaiser Permanente at Montebello as a physician in 1998. I am fluent in Cantonese and my practice encompasses a large Cantonese-speaking population.
About my practice
Medicine gives me opportunities to connect with and help people in a meaningful way, not only using my medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what patients need. It is a privilege to help patients understand what concerns them, translate what they may not grasp, facilitate getting them the appropriate evaluations, and communicate with them and their families.
How I thrive
I truly believe that mental and physical health are linked very closely. I practice what I recommend to my patients, which includes exercising and eating right.
