About me
I sincerely appreciate you visiting my Web page to read a bit about my background and approach to medicine. Simply put, your health is your most precious possession. I would be honored to receive the opportunity to provide you with care and assist in keeping you healthy.
Biography
I moved to Redlands in 2018. Prior to that, I was a part of Kaiser Permanente in Northern California at the Fremont Medical Center, providing primary care for a rapidly expanding, diverse community. I was one of 3 service champions who designed projects to improve the member experience. We analyzed each part of the experience, from the moment members step in our medical office building doors to the completion of all the follow-up tests. In addition, with increasing use of telemedicine, we made the process of receiving care via phone and secure messaging more efficient, reducing redundant steps and saving our members’ valuable time. My wife receiving admission at Loma Linda School of Dentistry for her periodontics residency brought us to the Inland Empire. We had never been to this beautiful area prior to our move, although I had heard a bit about the region from my classmates at UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine. We are both very blessed to be living in such a welcoming community. We try to regularly visit the gym for cardiovascular exercise. In our free time, we watch different types of films, including comedies, documentaries, and just about everything in between.
About my practice
When you communicate with me on kp.org, visit our beautifully designed Redlands medical office building, or have a telephone appointment, keep in mind that I am only one of many people involved in your care. There are outstanding and caring nurses, medical assistants, call center staff, and so many other individuals who help us to provide the high standard of care that is expected by our members. For instance, since our nurses are constantly monitoring my incoming messages, I am able to focus on a member who has come in for a medical office visit. I believe that open communication among the physicians, nurses, and other staff is absolutely essential to a successful medical team. Everything we do must be centered around the members we serve. It’s what Kaiser Permanente has been doing since its beginnings, and I want to do my part to continue this tradition. Furthermore, I love that each of us working at Kaiser Permanente also receives care at Kaiser Permanente. Thus, we can empathize even more with members.
How I thrive
Staying physically fit is a high priority for me. I particularly enjoy cardiovascular exercise such as running, elliptical, biking, and interval training. Like many other people, I wish I did a better job of doing it daily, but meditation in the form of sudarshan kriya yoga has helped me maintain my spiritual well-being.
