Welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself and tell you something about my practice. Having the opportunity to work with such wonderful colleagues and members makes me feel very fortunate to be at Kaiser Permanente. If you have a work-related injury, I look forward to providing care for you.
I’m from Mumbai, India, where I spent all of my early childhood. After I completed medical school there, I decided to move to the United States to complete my graduate studies in public health and to undergo my medical residency at Harvard University in Boston and Cook County Hospital in Chicago. My family and I moved to Los Angeles in 2012, and I fell in love with Southern California. Prior to this, I was on the faculty at the University of Rochester.
Preventive health care and a healthy lifestyle are the cornerstones of a person’s overall health and well-being, and I treat all my patients with this in mind. My practice in occupational medicine focuses on treatment and prevention of work-related and environmental conditions that cause injuries and sickness.
I try to stay healthy by regular exercise, bicycling (I bike to work a few times a week), and by spending time outdoors with my family.
