Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page! I am excited to have this opportunity to tell you some information about me.
First of all, I'm a Jersey guy through and through. I was born and raised in New Jersey and love all the NY/NJ sports teams. Go YANKEES! I went to college at Tufts University in Boston, completed medical school and residency in NYC at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center, and completed a cardiology fellowship in Newark at Rutgers University. NY pizza is my favorite food! I decided to become a doctor because I want to help people, listen to their problems, and offer them tangible ways to improve their lives.
About my practice
I love the science and physiology of the heart. In college, I shadowed my uncle, who is a cardiologist, and admired the way he built long-lasting connections with patients and their families.
I believe in the value of preventive medicine and love to talk about exercise and diet. I work as hard as I can to give members my undivided attention; when I am in the exam room with them, the rest of the world doesn't exist! I love working as part of a team, whether it be with members, other physicians, nurses, or medical assistants, and try to treat everyone with respect and courtesy.
How I thrive
I have a wonderful family, including my lovely wife Payal and our 2 boys, Arjun and Om, who keep us VERY busy! My hobbies include playing and watching sports like basketball and soccer, skiing, doing any kind of activity with my family, listening to music, and hanging out at home.
I believe that a person is healthy only when the well-being of a person's body, mind, and spirit are aligned. I thrive when I am meditating, exercising, and eating right, and love to help others find those activities and mindsets that help them live well!
