Where I practice
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I'm delighted to have this opportunity to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful patients and colleagues and I am looking forward to working with your children to care for their health.
I was born in the beautiful island country of Trinidad and Tobago. After high school, I decided to come to the United States for my higher education. I did my undergraduate studies and residency in Southern California, and have now made Southern California my home. I wanted to be a doctor in part because of the compassionate care I received as a child growing up with asthma. I knew I wanted to be able to make a difference in the lives of children, and practicing pediatrics gives me that special opportunity.
About my practice
Pediatrics as a career gives me a chance to connect with and help families with infants, young children, and teenagers. In my practice, I focus on listening and responding to the needs of children and their families and facilitating healthy living by using medical knowledge and skills and expediting appropriate evaluations for promoting good health. I consider it a special honor and privilege to work with your children in helping to keep them healthy.
How I thrive
I believe in Kaiser Permanente's emphasis on living well and thriving. My family life plays a key role in my well-being. My husband, daughter, son, and I enjoy quiet family time at home or just watching a movie together. I especially enjoy family get-togethers with relatives and friends on the weekends, holidays, and special occasions.
