Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself, and tell you a bit about my practice.
I was born in Latvia, a small country on the Baltic Sea. After high school, I came to the United States seeking refuge and the opportunity to get an education. I did my undergraduate studies at UCLA and medical studies at University of Southern California. I chose to specialize in urology because it deals with issues that affect people's quality of life and daily living.
About my practice
I really enjoy getting to know my patients and listening to their stories. Although I am a specialist, I like to understand the whole person and integrate my therapy with the overall well-being of every member. Together with our voiding dysfunction team, I work with patients to offer the best treatment options available.
How I thrive
I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente's philosophy of health in mind, body, and spirit, and I try to live it in my life every day. I stay fit by attending kickboxing, aerobics, and yoga classes. Family life is my top priority. I am actively involved with my daughter's diving team and son's chess club. My husband, two children and I enjoy hiking the trails of Franklin Canyon, and swimming in the ocean during the summer months.
