Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I’m glad to have the chance to introduce myself and for you to get to know more about me.
I was born in Saigon, Vietnam. I attended high school in Lafayette, Louisiana, and then I moved with my parents to California and went to college at UC Irvine, then to medical school in Chicago. I spent two years of clinical clerkship in Detroit and finally finished my family medicine residency in Houston, Texas. I was drawn to medicine from the deep-seated belief that we are here to continuously learn and help others. I was attracted to family medicine because of the breadth of training and knowledge it involves and the opportunity it provides to care for people of all ages. Living in Southern California gave me an appreciation for people of different backgrounds and values and the nice weather that we enjoy! Since my children are still young, any free time that I find is usually spent doing activities with them.
About my practice
My care philosophy is to share my knowledge and provide medical guidance based on evidence and up-to-date research with my patients so they can make informed decisions about their health care. I always encourage my patients to ask questions because I want them to feel involved in their care.
How I thrive
I like to swim and walk for exercise. I love to travel with my spouse and my three children.
