Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I am very delighted to have you as my patient. You can be assured that I will try my best to help you get the best and most appropriate care.
I am honored to be part of the Kaiser Permanente family after many years in training. Although I was born in Taiwan, I grew up mostly in Northern California. After finishing medical school on the East Coast, I had long missed the sunny weather of California. I came back to complete my internal medicine training here in Los Angeles, followed by a nephrology fellowship at Stanford University. I have made my home here in Southern California, where I enjoy seeing such diverse patients from various backgrounds.
About my practice
As a nephrologist, I take care of members with kidney problems. It is important for members to be educated about their disease so they can carry out steps that will help protect their kidneys. We have a multidisciplinary team in our division that includes a pharmacist, nurses, dieticians, and social workers that will help you with any issues you may have. Since I work in conjunction with other providers, I like members to come prepared with their medications, making their visits as productive and efficient as possible.
How I thrive
I try to educate members to stay healthy by exercising and eating well. I also practice what I teach, so in my spare time I enjoy exercising at the gym every day to relax.
