Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page! I am excited to introduce myself, and share a bit about my work caring for infants through adolescents.
I was raised in the San Francisco Bay area, and grew up as a Kaiser Permanente member. I studied art history in college but, inspired by the physicians who cared for my parents, decided to pursue a career medicine. I attended medical school in New York. I had my residency in pediatrics at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, and then came to Kaiser Permanente as a pediatric hospitalist.
About my practice
My position is a little different from what people are accustomed to when they think of a pediatrician. I am a pediatric hospitalist, which means I help take care of pediatric patients who have been admitted to the hospital. Having a child stay overnight in the hospital can be one of the more stressful and disruptive events a family has to experience. It is my goal to work with our team of pediatric specialists, nurses, residents, ancillary staff, and, most importantly, parents to treat the child, and make the experience as productive and painless as possible. It's important to have balance in one's life.
How I thrive
In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis and basketball, taking part in the cultural offerings of Los Angeles, and spending time with friends and family.
