Kaiser Permanente physician
My gender: Female
Accepting new patients.
Welcome! I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my work as a Kaiser Permanente physician. I look forward to seeing you and caring for your child here at the Huntington Beach Medical Offices. I completed my pediatric medical training in 2006 and then began working with Kaiser Permanente. I have been practicing in Huntington Beach since 2007.
I was born and raised in Southern California and consider myself a native of Orange County. I did spend some time on the East Coast for my education, living in Cambridge while attending Massachusetts Institute of Technology for my undergraduate studies, and Rochester, New York, for my medical studies. While I really enjoyed experiencing the different seasons, with snowy winters and beautiful fall foliage, it was great to come home to Orange County to complete my residency training at UC Irvine. You really can’t beat the weather here all year round!
My goal as a physician and pediatrician is always to help keep your child as healthy as possible. For me, what piqued my interest in pediatrics was my interest in prevention and maintaining good health from the beginning. What better way to promote healthy living and future health than to start at birth and move forward? This means keeping up to date on immunizations, screening tests, follow-up visits, and well-child visits, as well as treating infections appropriately and maintaining a close relationship with members and families as they grow.
While I strive to stay fit and eat healthfully, I have to admit that I do enjoy eating and will have a nice, not-so-healthy dessert every once in a while! I also enjoy catching a good movie, kayaking, going for walks on the beach, sightseeing, and spending time with family. Maintaining one’s spiritual health is also something I believe is very important, and I am actively involved in church activities. One thing people might be surprised to learn is that I enjoy playing video games and board games, as they bring out my adventurous and competitive side.
