Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you.
I am originally from Hyde Park, New York (home of the Culinary Institute of America and the Franklin D. Roosevelt home), in the Hudson River Valley. I reached the decision to pursue a career in medicine during college, with the intention of helping people have healthier lives. Besides helping people by practicing medicine, I also enjoy learning or sharing experiences with my patients. It allows me to connect with them on a different level.
The physical medicine and rehabilitation department specializes in various musculosketal disorders and pain conditions. We use a conservative, non-surgical approach, and often work in conjunction with physical therapy and other specialty departments, such as pain management, neurosurgery, orthopedics, and rheumatology. To promote a healthy lifestyle, I always inquire about whether my patients follow a regular exercise routine. If not, I encourage them to begin an exercise program which can enrich and balance their lives both physically and mentally.
I have run several marathons and regularly exercise to help me stay healthy. I have posters from my various marathons hanging in my exam rooms to inspire my patients and be a role model in keeping an active lifestyle.
