Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and patients, and I look forward to working with you as a partner in your health.
I am a Southern California native, and had the privilege of attending medical school and completing my training close to home. I come from a family of physicians, so I decided to become a doctor at an early age. Choosing internal medicine and pediatrics for my field of medicine has been challenging but very rewarding. Living and working in such a beautiful part of the country makes it even better! In addition to the work I do for Kaiser Permanente, I have traveled with my family to China and other parts of the world to deliver health care to the poor and underserved. These experiences have expanded my professional and personal life and made me aware of the global need for good health care.
About my practice
My focus in my practice is on whole person care, which means not only healing the physical but also the mental and spiritual parts of a person. I view myself primarily as an educator and partner in my patients’ health. I feel very honored that individuals have entrusted me with their care, and I strive to treat them as I would my own family. I chose to work at Kaiser Permanente because of its emphasis on preventive health and community involvement.
How I thrive
I love to participate in all kinds of outdoor activities, including hiking, skiing, biking, and fishing. I try to stay healthy by starting each day running with my two Wheaten Terriers in the morning. When weather permits on the weekends or after work , I enjoy relaxing at our local beautiful beaches. Most importantly, my family is a priority, and I spend most of my free time trying to keep up with my husband and three busy children!
