Where I practice
Hello! I am a board-certified radiologist with a fellowship training in nuclear medicine/PET. I look forward to telling you about myself and my practice. I hope that after learning more about my background and my practice, you will become more acquainted with what we have to offer in radiology and nuclear medicine.
My interest in medicine started a long time ago. At an early age, I thought that being able to participate in healing the sick seemed like one of the most rewarding professions. I was particularly attracted to the field of radiology, which allows us to figure out what is ailing the patient. A long journey of medical training took me to many wonderful places around the country, including Ann Arbor, Michigan, Hanover, New Hampshire, Chicago, Illinois, and St. Louis, Missouri. However, growing up in cold and snowy Michigan, I always dreamed of living in sunny Southern California one day. After working in Bellevue, Washington, and Ann Arbor, I am so thankful to be finally working in Southern California! I hope to bring my experiences and training from all of these wonderful places to Southern California.
About my practice
My practice involves nuclear medicine (including PET scan/molecular imaging) and general radiology. With advances in molecular imaging, we are able to see how molecules are functioning in our body. This evolving technology is becoming important in our understanding and treatment of various cancers. At the risk of sounding cliché, I truly approach each radiology exam as if it was for one of my family members. I believe that members, referring physicians, and radiologists all need to work together as a team for the common goal of wellness. Thank you for considering me and my practice.
How I thrive
Being healthy (both mind and body) is very important to me and my family. My wife, my 2 sons, and my daughter love exploring the outdoors in beautiful Southern California, staying active (through activities such as biking), and enjoying the wonderful variety of ethnic cuisines California offers. I also enjoy occasional rounds of golf, doing yard work, and traveling.
