Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I am very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my skilled colleagues and our wonderful members. I look forward to working with you to care for your health and I hope that this page will help you to get to know me better.
I came to Southern California from Chisinau, Moldova in 1992 as a refugee. My original career was in teaching drawing and painting, but coming to the States allowed me to pursue my real passion of becoming a surgeon. After completing my medical degree as an osteopathic physician at Western University of Health Sciences, as well as a five-year general surgery residency at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, I joined the Kaiser Permanente team at the newly-opened Ontario Medical Center in August 2011. I am happily married to my husband and we have two wonderful sons.
About my practice
I am a firm believer in working together as a team. A successful team consists of patients, their families, doctors, and nurses working together towards our members' health. Having been trained in osteopathic medicine, I believe in treating the body as a whole, not just the specific parts of the body that exhibit symptoms.
How I thrive
Personally, I thrive by partaking in a variety of activities with my husband, children, family, and friends.
