About me

Greetings, and welcome to my Web page! I'm glad to have the chance to introduce myself. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente with great colleagues, and I look forward to working with you to care for your health.

Biography

I grew up in Phoenix, San Diego, and Denver before returning to California for my undergraduate and medical school education. I knew that eventually I wanted to end up back in California, and I am glad to be here and closer to family after spending 4 years enduring Boston winters during my residency and fellowship! I truly enjoy taking care of patients and helping them maintain or recover their vision so that they can continue to enjoy life.

About my practice

As a specialist in ocular immunology and uveitis, I can help patients with infectious and inflammatory eye conditions to manage those conditions and prevent vision loss. I also see patients for a variety of medical and surgical eye problems (such as cataracts and glaucoma) as part of my practice as a comprehensive ophthalmologist. My philosophy in caring for patients is to treat every patient as I would a member of my family.

How I thrive

Since moving to sunny Southern California, I have been taking advantage of the weather by spending time outdoors riding my bicycle and walking by the ocean. I also enjoy reading, cooking, dancing, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.
