Hello, and welcome to my Web page. Here you can find information about me, which I hope will help you decide on choosing the proper surgeon for your care.
I came to the United States as an immigrant when I was 11 years old. I grew up in the Midwest, but I did my surgical training in California and have been here since 1992. I enjoy California for its ethnic diversity and, of course, the weather. I believe the United States is truly a land of opportunity.
Being a surgeon allows me the privilege of taking care of people and, simultaneously, gives me the opportunity to do something challenging and different on a daily basis. I received excellent training as a general surgeon, before deciding to expand my knowledge and expertise further by training in colorectal surgery. With my expertise, I can provide great care to members with colorectal diseases, such as cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and diverticulitis. My philosophy in delivering health care to members is simple—treat each member as part of my own family, and do my best, nothing less. I strive to stay up-to-date with the latest treatment techniques for my members. I also am very excited about our abilities to perform robotic surgeries.
I tell members that the mind affects the body and vice versa. So for me, staying physically fit is extremely important. I enjoy swimming, walking, and weight lifting. My hobbies include fishing, camping, gardening, and, last but not least, good get-togethers with family and friends.
