Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this opportunity to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and our members, and I look forward to working with you to care for your health when you need my service.
I was born in India. After finishing medical school, I came to the United States. I trained in anesthesiology at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and received a subspecialty certification in cardiac anesthesia at Loyola University of Chicago in Illinois. I served as an assistant professor for seven years before deciding to move to sunny Southern California. I come from a family of doctors (my siblings) who practice medicine in different parts of the United States. I find it very satisfying to work at Kaiser Permanente, where I can provide high-quality care to our members without the distraction of the business aspect of medicine.
My practice in anesthesiology along with other members of my department offers 24/7 coverage for anesthesia services. I find medicine to be a rewarding career, because it allows me the opportunity to connect and help people in a very meaningful way. It's an honor that you trust me with your care, and I strive to offer you the same care and treatment as I would a family member.
I feel that a healthy lifestyle (good nutrition and exercise) and preventive care are the best ways to stay well. I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente's philosophy of preventive health care, and try to live it in my life every day. I am a big fan of yoga. The energy it gives me helps me support my members. My family life is my major priority. I enjoy family outings and traveling all over the world.
