About me

Hi, I’m Nasrin Lopa. Welcome to my Web page. I'm glad to have this opportunity to introduce myself and tell you about my practice. I’m very happy and fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente, where I have wonderful colleagues dedicated to the care of others. I look forward to working with you to take care of your health

Biography

I was born and raised in Bangladesh. I received my medical education in 1994 from Dhaka Medical College and Hospital in Bangladesh, and then completed my Internship. I moved to the United States in 1995. I am trained and board-certified in family medicine. I completed my residency at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science in Los Angeles. I received my Masters In Public Health from the University of Illinois in Chicago. After my residency, I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2008—initially as a per diem physician while maintaining responsibilities as a full-time physician for almost eight years with another medical group. It has been amazing to see how Kaiser Permanente physicians work together. I’m very fortunate to have joined Kaiser Permanente as full-time physician.

About my practice

I am a board-certified family physician. I enjoy providing preventive care and treatment to adolescents, adults, and the elderly. I have a special interest in women's health and geriatric populations. If I get the time and opportunity, I plan to advance my studies in these areas. My philosophy of practice is to provide appropriate medical services, treating each individual as a whole person, and encouraging everyone to participate in their own health care.

How I thrive

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, exploring new places, reading journals, listening to music, spending time with my family, and participating in regular exercise.
