Kaiser Permanente physician
My gender: Male
Accepting new patients.
Welcome to my Web page. I’m honored to work at Kaiser Permanente. My goal is to provide high-quality care and build mutual trust and respect with my members.
I grew up in Tehran, Iran, and graduated from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Following graduation, I practiced family medicine for 12 years. After I moved to the United States, I trained in the Mercy/Mayo Family Medicine Residency Program in Des Moines, Iowa. Living in San Diego is a blessing—I moved here in 2012 and I love it.
My practice is based on preventive care rather than treatment. I enjoy working in the family medicine field because it allows me to play a part in enhancing my members' health and educating them on how to prevail over illnesses. As a primary care physician, I get to have a long-term relationship with my members while helping them reach their health goals. Genuine communication is key to my practice because it allows me to learn more about my members’ illnesses and reach our goals for treatment and preventive care.
I strive to have a healthier lifestyle every day by exercising and eating well. Having a strong bond with my wife and two girls are the keys to my happiness, and family comes first. I try to play tennis and volleyball each week with my wife and other friends.
