Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I appreciate the opportunity to share with you who I am and what exactly I do.
I grew up and did the vast majority of my training right here in Southern California. After spending four years in St. Louis for medical school, I returned to sunny Los Angeles, where I plan to live the rest of my life.
My main area of interest is congenital heart disease, and I am the regional interventional pediatric cardiologist for Kaiser Permanente in Southern California. I oversee one of the largest programs in the western United States that treats children and adults who have congenital heart defects. We perform a wide range of specialized procedures, including pulmonary artery stenting and transcatheter valve implantations. In addition, I am involved in other aspects of cardiology for children, from fetal echocardiography to heart transplant. I care for congenital heart disease patients of all ages, from fetal age to senior adult.
I believe in a balanced approach to work and life. I feel that success is first envisioned in the mind before it is materialized in reality. A healthy mind leads to a healthy body.
