Where I practice
Hello! Welcome to my Web page. Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself, and share a bit about my practice.
I was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico. I trained and graduated as a paramedic while in high school. I completed a 6-year medical school in 2001. I moved to the United States in 2002, after marrying and deciding to continue my education in a foreign country. I lived in Philadelphia and New Jersey for over 8 years. I worked as a research coordinator for multiple medical trials and completed my pediatric training at Cooper University Hospital in New Jersey. I moved to Southern California in 2009, as my husband's family is originally from the area. I have 2 wonderful daughters and an exceptional husband.
About my practice
I love being a pediatrician. I believe that my job as a pediatrician is to take care of children in every single aspect. I treat them with care, love, and respect, as if they were my own children or even better! I believe children are the future and each one of them has to be treated in a very special way. I'm easy to approach and like to listen to parental concerns, and I involve parents and their opinions in their child's care.
How I thrive
My family life is my highest priority. We live life to the fullest, and we laugh often. My daughters and husband keep me busy. Of course there are lots of school meetings, extracurricular activities, parties , trips, etc. We love traveling and enjoy activities together, like 1K to 5K races. I strongly recommend sports, as I did gymnastics until the age of 19. I believe that eating a balanced diet, exercising, and being happy are the keys to a healthy life.
