About me
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. My name is Minh Chu, and I am an anesthesiologist with additional training in pediatric anesthesiology. I hope you’re able to learn a little more about me through this page. I look forward to meeting you and learning about you as well! It’s an honor and privilege for me to help restore your health and thrive.
Biography
I am a Southern California native. I was raised in San Diego and did my undergraduate studies at UC San Diego. I then moved to the Inland Empire and attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona. Afterward, I did my anesthesiology training in Texas with my residency at University of Texas Medical Branch and pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at University of Texas Houston. While I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Texas and met wonderful people there, I knew that Southern California is where home is. After training, I moved back to the Inland Empire, and I am ecstatic at the opportunity to serve this community.
About my practice
As an anesthesiologist, my duty to members is to ensure your safety and comfort throughout any medical procedure. There are multiple ways to accomplish this goal, and therefore I want to personally know more about you and your health so that I can carefully tailor an anesthetic that best works for you and is suitable for the procedure. This can involve being fully asleep under general anesthesia or lightly asleep with sedation. I can also help relieve your pain with regional and neuraxial anesthesia. My practice includes taking care of members from all stages of life, from newborns to elderly members, and in different settings, including the operating room, labor and delivery, gastrointestinal and radiology. I am fortunate to work in a wonderful department, and I work closely with my fellow anesthesiologists, certified registered nurse anesthetists, surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia techs to ensure that you get high-quality care.
How I thrive
My family and friends are my world. I am fortunate to have a wonderful support system that encouraged me to pursue my medical education. They help me thrive. I also believe in maintaining a work-life balance. In my free time, I enjoy being around family and friends. I also enjoy traveling, exercising, watching movies and Netflix, and playing board games.
