Hello! Welcome to my Web page.
I had my first eye exam when I was in middle school, and that exam left such a good impression on me. I was delighted to be able to see so clearly after getting my first pair of glasses, so I thought that this would be something that I would like to be able to do for others when I grew up.
Vision is one of our most precious and valuable senses. I enjoy helping my patients improve their vision as well as manage any diseases or conditions. It is very important for me to get to know my patients' visual needs as well as lifestyles so that I can help them better with the appropriate visual aids. Health care is best delivered when the provider understands the patient's needs and concerns, and I also like to get to know my patients. Besides the reward of being able to help patients, I simply enjoy connecting as well as working with people. Practicing optometry is very rewarding for me. I have also been teaching optometry students from Western University during their clinical clerkship. This opportunity allows me to give back to my profession.
I have adventurous taste buds for trying different cuisines, and so going out to try different ethnic foods is very fun for me. But on the flip side, eating healthy is also important to me, so I try to keep things in balance. I love reading up on new topics about nutrition as well as getting regular exercise, which helps to keep me healthy mentally as well as physically. Living in California with our amazing weather provides us with a lot of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. My family often takes frequent hikes with our dogs.
