Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and our members, and I look forward to working with you to care for your health.
I grew up in Indiana and attended college and medical school there. After finishing my residency in orthopedic surgery, I completed a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at the University of Kentucky. Subsequently, I joined the medical group here at Kaiser Permanente. I've been very happy here.
About my practice
I perform many general orthopedic procedures, but I have a special interest in the care of members with active lifestyles. My practice primarily involves arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee. I also have an interest in shoulder reconstructive procedures, including humeral head resurfacing, as well as total and reverse shoulder arthroplasty. Restoration of normal function is achieved through both nonsurgical and surgical treatment options. I strive to thoroughly educate members with regard to their condition, treatment options, and goals.
How I thrive
I enjoy physical activity, particularly outdoors. Bicycling, running, weight lifting, and hiking are staples. My favorite activity, however, is playing with my daughters.
