Where I practice
Hi, and welcome to my Web page. I would like to take this opportunity to share with you a little about myself and my practice as a Kaiser Permanente physician.
I grew up in Brooklyn, New York, but moved to Southern California around the start of high school. The different phases of my education and medical training have taken me from San Diego to the Bay Area. I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to return to Los Angeles to live and work. I chose to specialize in diagnostic imaging and radiology because I felt the best way to understand illnesses and ailments was to see these processes from the inside of the patient’s body. A radiologist is physician who has specialty training in utilizing advanced imaging techniques to help diagnosis and treat different medical conditions. As a radiologist, I interpret these examinations (X-rays, ultrasound, and CT and MRI scans) and provide this information to the physicians who have referred their patients for these tests.
About my practice
I enjoy all facets of radiology, but I have a special interest in musculoskeletal imaging, which deals with orthopedic and rheumatologic disorders affecting joints, bones, muscles, and the soft tissues connecting these structures. I also specialize in pediatric radiology. As part of my practice, I perform image-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures on both children and adults. I'm also actively involved in the education of medical students and residents because I enjoy teaching as much as I enjoy taking care of patients. Although most patients may not see me, I am working hard behind the scenes to deliver high-quality medical care to them.
How I thrive
I take full advantage of Southern California living by enjoying recreational activities from the mountaintops to the ocean waves and everything in between. The better I take care of myself, the more I can help to improve the health and lifestyle of my patients.
