About me

Welcome to my Web page. It’s important for you to feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me. I’m a family medical physician with Kaiser Permanente and feel fortunate to have practiced in San Diego for the past eight years.

Biography

I was born and raised in a large family in the San Joaquin Valley. After completing medical school on the East Coast, I moved back to sunny California to start my practice. I’ve been a musician for 25 years and played in several bands as a drummer during my medical training. I love to travel and experience new cultures, and I have always loved working to help people.

About my practice

I feel that my role as a physician is to educate and motivate my patients to help treat and, more importantly, help prevent health problems. I want to inspire my patients to communicate with me so I can give them care that is tailored to their needs.

How I thrive

I try to live a balanced and healthy life by running every morning before work, spending quality time with friends and family, and setting aside time to relax by listening to music or cooking.
