Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente. Thank you for the opportunity to share with you a little about myself and my practice.
I was born in the Philippines, had a brief stay in Chicago, and grew up in Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley. I went to UCLA for undergrad, Pennsylvania for grad school, the Bay Area for medical school, and Long Beach for residency. In my travels, I found that there was no place like Southern California. The diversity is enlightening, the culture is rich, and the community is inspiring.
About my practice
As clichéd as it may sound, it is not about the end result, but the journey that we take together. I believe medicine is not just about finding disease, but rather an opportunity to learn about the person, with or without disease. As a primary care physician, I focus on prevention and a healthy lifestyle. I cannot stress how important it is to keep a life balance, embracing all emotions, and I feel honored to share those moments with each of my patients. It is what makes us human. At Kaiser Permanente, I am fortunate to work alongside a dedicated team of health care providers. Together, I hope we can help you attain your goals and truly enjoy the journey toward a healthier future.
How I thrive
Whether it is a birthday party, holiday gathering, or random weekend, I love spending time with family and friends. I like hosting get-togethers when I can, often trying new and old recipes, and putting my husband to work as my assistant in the kitchen. Music is one of my passions, and definitely a great stress-reliever. I find playing the piano or guitar and singing along will ease the day's tension. When that doesn't work, I will take a jog, ride a bicycle, play some volleyball, or do something active to get the adrenaline out of my system.
