Where I practice
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have the chance to introduce myself, and I look forward to working with you to care for your health.
I grew up in Texas, and then spent some time in Washington, DC, before finding my way to beautiful San Diego. My family and I enjoy all that southern California has to offer, from taking walks on the scenic beaches to visiting Balboa Park and going apple picking in Julian. We love going to the local farmers' market or just seeing the sights as "tourists" in our own city.
About my practice
I chose to become an obstetrician/gynecologist because of my interest in women's health. I really love the diversity that an Ob/Gyn practice entails. Getting to know the whole family over several visits during a pregnancy, then welcoming a new baby into the world is very rewarding. Helping women make informed choices regarding treating menstrual disorders, picking out the most effective birth control for their busy lives, and navigating the path to and through gynecologic surgery, when needed, make each day in my office a different experience. My practice includes women from all walks of life, and I see it as an honor to be trusted with something as important as their health and medical care. To me, considering all aspects of a woman's life is the best approach to developing her individual treatment plan.
How I thrive
I enjoy spending time with my family, whether I’m dancing to energetic music with my young twins, cheering the kids on at their soccer games, or enjoying the sunset and a few moments of serenity with my husband—which are often interrupted by our kids' soccer ball hitting the table legs.
