About me
Hello! I'm a pathologist specializing in gastrointestinal/liver pathology.
Biography
I obtained my MD from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences (SBMU) in Iran in 2008, supplemented by research fellowship experiences at Massachusetts General Hospital and the University of Miami. Subsequently, I did pathology residency training from 2017 to 2021 at State University of New York in Buffalo, where I served as the chief resident for the 2020–2021 term. In July 2021, I embarked on the selective surgical pathology fellowship program, followed by a year of gastrointestinal/liver pathology fellowship, both at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. I received my board certifications in both anatomic and clinical pathology from the American Board of Pathology. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2023.
About my practice
I am dedicated to providing meticulous diagnostic insights and comprehensive pathology services. With a foundation built on rigorous medical training and diverse fellowship experiences, I bring expertise in interpreting a wide range of pathology specimens. My commitment to precision and member care extends to working with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans. Whether in surgical pathology or specialized areas such as gastrointestinal and liver pathology, my goal is to contribute to the advancement of members’ health through pathology expertise.
How I thrive
In my spare time, I discover joy in a activities that contribute to my overall well-being. While I may not be a regular at the gym, I value staying active and embracing a healthy lifestyle. Exploring new destinations through travel, indulging in movie marathons, and immersing myself in captivating history and society podcasts are some of my favorite ways to unwind and broaden my perspective. Additionally, I find solace and rejuvenation in the great outdoors. Hiking amid nature's beauty is a cherished activity, allowing me to connect with the tranquility of natural surroundings. Quality time with family and friends remains a priority, and I also relish engaging in entertaining games and activities that bring joy to these shared moments.
