About me

Welcome to my Web page. I’m glad to have this opportunity to present my credentials to you and to share other information about myself. I think it’s very important for you to feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.

Biography

I’m originally from Illinois, but I love living in California! I especially enjoy the warm weather and the many outdoor activities Los Angeles has to offer—hiking, swimming, running, etc. I’ve known since I was very young that I would enter the medical field, although I initially thought I would become a veterinarian. After many volunteer experiences, I discovered that becoming a physician was definitely my calling. I worked as a swimming instructor and counselor during college and came to love working with children—so pediatrics is perfect for me. I find my job to be very rewarding.

About my practice

A career in medicine is a very special opportunity to connect with and help people in a meaningful way, utilizing medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what members and their parents need. I feel very honored that members have entrusted me with their care, and I strive to treat them as I would my own family.

How I thrive

Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. In addition to work, I keep myself very active with my daughter, as well as yoga, running, and swimming. My husband and I also love to travel, but with a toddler at home we’re not doing as much of that at the moment. I do volunteer work as well, and I’m hoping to join some of the other physicians at Kaiser Permanente on a mission trip soon.
