Where I practice
Welcome to my web page, where you can get to know me and my practice style better. I am excited to have the opportunity to work in the community where I live.
I am originally from Columbus, graduating from Ohio State University for undergrad and then going to medical school at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. I first met my wife while we were in our first year of medical school. After we finished medical school, we went to their Family Medicine Residency program, where I was the Chief Resident. I got married to my wife while we were completing our residencies. I enjoy spending time with my family, playing with my dog, woodworking, and all things computers (though this has made me the IT department for my family).
About my practice
I am excited to work for Kaiser Permanente due to its approach to medicine and teamwork. I hope to bring that same positive attitude about teamwork to the care of members. I want to work with members, building a good therapeutic relationship with them in order to give them high-quality care. Caring for members and helping them is why I became a physician. I chose Family Medicine because I enjoy all aspects of medicine and all ages of members. I enjoy being able to see multiple generations of a family and getting to know the family as a whole. I like to do a lot of teaching in my practice to help members understand the disease and why we are treating things the way we are.
How I thrive
I thrive by finding a good work/home balance. I feel that work does the soul good, but so does rest and relaxation. I enjoy taking walks with my wife and dog, tinkering with things in my garage, and watching TV.
