About me
Greetings! My name is Mark Jason Peters, but I go by my middle name, Jason. Thanks for your interest in my Web page. I think it's vital to have good chemistry with your personal physician, so I hope that reading a bit about me will help you decide if I would be a good doctor for you.
Biography
I attended college in Riverside, and as part of my coursework, I studied reptiles in Baja California. I attended medical school at Loma Linda University and then completed a residency in preventive medicine at UC San Diego. I finished a second residency in family medicine at Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center. I am fascinated by medicine and have a deep desire to serve others. My wife and two kids (daughter and son) keep me happily busy when I'm not at work. San Diego is definitely a great fit for my family and me.
About my practice
I believe in preventive medicine and keeping others motivated to stay healthy and have enough energy to have fun with life. You can contact me by e-mail through kp.org with any routine questions or concerns you have. I am a proponent of natural ways to manage chronic pain. I also find it very important to work collaboratively with you, agreeing on treatment plans together, rather than just telling you what to do.
How I thrive
I live a healthy, balanced life by staying as active as possible. Initially, I found this to be a challenge, because it just seems like there's never enough energy at the end of the day to get exercise or play with my kids. However, I discovered that when I commit to staying active I gain more energy to do the things I love. I enjoy most outdoor activities and I love to golf, no matter how bad I am at it. I look forward to getting suggestions from you on fun things to do in San Diego.
