Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I enjoy working with the Kaiser Permanente members who live in the Upland community. I encourage all of my patients to take advantage for the health information resources available to them at kp.org. I have been with Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center since my internship in 1987.
I was born in Pomona. I attended public schools up until the ninth grade, when my family relocated up to Central California. I completed my undergraduate work at UC Davis, my medical school training at UC Irvine, and my residency training at Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center. I wanted to be a doctor for as long as I can remember; many things in my life encouraged me to pursue this goal. My family lives in Upland, and our kids have always been involved in Upland sports.
About my practice
I chose family medicine as my specialty because it best suits my personality. I have enjoyed getting to know many of my patients and watching their kids grow, and now their kids are having kids. At times I have been actively involved in the care of up to four generations in one family.
How I thrive
I thrive by spending time with my family, including a beautiful new grandaugher. I also volunteer as the team physician for the Upland High School football team. I look forward to getting back into a healthier lifestyle by riding my bike regularly.
