Where I practice
Welcome, I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Mark Goldstein, and I’ve been working for Kaiser Permanente for more than 12 years.
I was born and raised in the South Bay. I completed my undergraduate schooling at UC Irvine, with a bachelor’s degree in biology. I attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences, and completed my family medicine residency at Downey Regional Medical Center. My interest in medicine started when I was young and dealing with a form of children’s Rheumatoid arthritis. I learned at an early age not to give up, and that you can push through or find a way around limitations and barriers.
About my practice
I currently work in the Occupational Medicine Department at the West Los Angeles Medical Center, and take care of members with work-related injuries. I enjoy working for Kaiser Permanente, and strongly believe in the goals of the organization. We take care of work-related injuries, and working for Kaiser Permanente allows me to utilize many different resources to do so, especially our integrated model of care. My training as an osteopathic physician allows me to utilize various modalities to assist my members in returning to work.
How I thrive
Balance is important, and I enjoy working out, and engaging in outdoor activities. I like to travel when possible, and keep the mental batteries recharged.
