Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I hope this information gives you a sense of who I am, and how I practice.
I was born in Taiwan but our family immigrated when I was young. I was raised in the Midwest in Illinois and Michigan. I moved from Michigan to sunny Southern California for my residency, and I've stayed because I love Los Angeles for its cultural diversity and its great weather. My family is a major priority, and we try to stay healthy by exercising regularly and eating healthy.
About my practice
I come from a family of health professionals and grew up seeing the importance of health and staying healthy. I understand it's a lifestyle commitment. Being a doctor affords me the opportunity to help others become or stay healthy. I provide all aspects of urologic care to both adult and pediatric members, and I have a special interest in treating male patients with infertility concerns.
How I thrive
I love being outdoors and I enjoy playing all sports—especially tennis, baseball, dragon boat racing, and outrigger canoeing. I belong to the Los Angeles Racing Dragons paddling club, which is a top U.S. dragon boat racing club. I even coach our own Kaiser Permanente dragon boat paddling team, to help promote fitness amongst our employees. I also help coach my kids' baseball, soccer, and tennis teams. Being involved in their activities allows me to teach them the importance of teamwork and help give back to my community.
