Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page! I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you. I want you to feel comfortable with me when we meet, so I hope this page will help you get to know me better.
I grew up in the Pacific Northwest. For college, I ventured to Southern California and attended UC Santa Barbara. I left this beautiful part of the country for medical school at Tufts University in Boston, and returned for residency and to practice medicine.
About my practice
I do my best to not only provide compassionate and quality medical care for members like you, but also to educate members on issues related to their health. I believe in working together toward improving and maintaining each member’s health. Some of my areas of clinical interest and expertise are: chronic disease management: hypertension and Type 2 Diabetes; musculoskeletal care: administering joint injections in knees, shoulders, or trigger fingers; office surgery small procedures: infected ingrown toenail removal, incision, and drainage; simple laceration repairs; suture removal; staple removal; destruction of warts and skin tags with cryotherapy; women’s health: Pap smears, contraception management, IUD placement; newborn care and preventive services; and LGBTQ care.
How I thrive
I participate in many activities that allow me to enjoy my free time. Having grown up in the Pacific Northwest, I have a great appreciation for the outdoors. I love hiking with my family and friends. I stay healthy by working out several times a week by hiking, doing capoeira (a Brazilian martial art), and doing yoga.
