About me
Hello and welcome to my Web page.
Biography
I am from Queens, New York. I obtained an U.S. history degree from NYU, and a science degree From Penn State University. I attended podiatry school in Cleveland at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (OCPM), returned home for my residency at Long Island Jewish/North Shore Health System, and then completed a sports medicine fellowship in Palo Alto,CA. During my fellowship I had the opportunity to work with foot and ankle orthopedic surgeons in Germany and London. I spent some time in Philadelphia after I earned my undergraduate degrees but before I went to podiatry school. The Philly cheesesteaks were great, but the hoagies were amazing.I would like to utilize my years of medical training and experience to get you back on your feet. Getting you there is journey we commit to taking together. Leonardo da Vinci said "The human foot is a masterpiece of engineering and a work of art."
About my practice
I would like to take the time to answer a question that so many have asked me. Why podiatry? I simply say: because I can fix a simple problem in the office or a major one with surgery. The end result is the same: I keep people moving. Walking is an essential part of one's quality of life and independence. I like know that I can improve or maintain someone's quality of life
How I thrive
I love traveling, photography and movies. My first love would be movies—all types. Traveling is something I find enjoyable but, it is just an excuse for me to take pictures. I have traveled to London, Paris, Rome, Capri, Hamburg, and Berlin. I have been to over 10 states and counting. Travel would be my third love and photography would be a close second. Working out is an important part of my life. I’m an advocate of The Bar Method, which uses a mix of ballet moves and yoga. Ask me about it at our next visit.
