Where I practice
Thank you for visiting my Web page. I would like to introduce myself to you and give you a little more information about myself beyond the facts of my credentials. I hope this will allow for better understanding of who I am not only as a physician but also as a person.
As far as I can remember, I always wanted to be a doctor. My favorite teddy bear was often covered with adhesive bandages because of the “shots” he got so he could stay healthy. The choice to enter the medical profession was easy for me as my mother and my older sister are both pediatricians. There were many medical mysteries talked over at our dinner table. It was always fun to participate in those discussions. And now my older daughter is preparing to become a physician. That will make three generations of women physicians in our family.
About my practice
I joined the Department of Pediatrics at Baldwin Park Medical Center on a full-time basis in 2003. I am proud to be a part of this department. I specialize in pediatrics and pediatric infections, and I am certified in both fields. I enjoy working with children and seeing them grow up to be healthy. Total wellness of my patients is my priority.
How I thrive
It’s not easy juggling a job, home life, and the pressures of our society. It takes a bit of discipline to live a healthy lifestyle. I find it very important to get the right amount of sleep and find little time for myself. A good laugh while reading a novel or watching a movie is a great way to relax. Spending quality time with my family is also important to me. We love to travel, meet new people, learn their customs, and sample their cuisine.
