Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate and proud to work and be part of Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and patients. I have been working in the Fontana area, at the Ontario Vineyard Medical Offices and Ambulatory SurgiCenter, since 1998. I look forward to working with you to care for your health.
I was born in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico. My family and I moved to Southern California in 1974. I have done all my schooling (with the exception of the first five years of elementary school) in Southern California. I am married and have two kids. I love to travel, read and exercise. I knew that I wanted to be a doctor since childhood. I knew that I wanted to be able to make a real difference in people's lives, and practicing medicine gives me that opportunity.
About my practice
I am a family medicine physician, and as such, I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy, but if you get sick, I am also here to help you. I want to be your partner in keeping you healthy, and it helps me better care for you when you are actively involved in taking care of your health.
How I thrive
Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. My family life is my major priority. I enjoy family outings and to be involved in my kids sports. My wife, my son, my daughter and I enjoy traveling; we make it a point to visit a new place each during each spring and summer vacation. I like to exercise regularly (run, lift weights and play racquetball) but also make it a priority to set aside time to just relax or read a good book.
