Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I would like to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I am happy to be working at Kaiser Permanente and I am looking forward to working with you to care for your health.
I was born in Bucharest, Romania, and immigrated to the United States with my parents when I was seven years old. We have lived in Los Angeles ever since. I wanted to be a physician from the time I was a child. I knew that I wanted to be able to make a real difference in people's lives, and practicing medicine gives me that opportunity. So it came as no surprise that, after finishing my undergraduate education at UCLA in biochemistry, I decided to go to medical school. I came to work at Kaiser Permanente after finishing my pulmonary critical care fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and I have been very happy here ever since. I currently live in Westwood with my husband and our two children.
About my practice
Our team here at Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles includes physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who provide compassionate care. We want to work with you to address your specific health needs and concerns.
How I thrive
Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. My husband and I enjoy going to Los Angeles Philharmonic concerts and Lakers basketball games. In the winter you can find us skiing on the slopes of Mammoth Mountain. I make it a priority to exercise three times a week and set aside time to read. Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my children and sharing their various activities.
