Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I'm glad to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you. I am Loan Pham, M.D. I am a hospitalist, which means I care for members who have been admitted to the hospital, and have been at Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center since 2006. I feel fortunate to be a Kaiser Permanente physician because of our wonderful members and the dedicated colleagues I work with. I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.
I am from Saigon, Vietnam. I wanted to be a doctor since fifth grade. My father was a doctor who got training in U.S. Army in 1974, and my mother was a nurse. I have two sisters and one brother, all of whom work in medical field. One of my sisters is a dermatologist and still practicing in Vietnam. After completing my cardiology training in Vietnam, I came to the U.S. in 1998 and finished my internal medicine training in 2003. I love medicine very much.
About my practice
I enjoy taking care of members in the hospital. I get to spend more time with them and really listen to their concerns about their health. I feel very honored that patients have entrusted me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family.
How I thrive
Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente's philosophy of health in body, mind, and spirit, and try to live it in my life every day. I try to do more exercise when I am not on duty and eat healthy food. I also enjoy spare time to travel with my family.
