Where I practice
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I'm so pleased to have this opportunity to introduce myself. It's important to feel comfortable with your personal physician. I hope, as you read this page, you'll get to know me. I look forward to getting to know you as we work together to care for your health.
Although I was born in Washington, D.C., I consider myself an almost Southern California native, having moved here in fourth grade. I earned a degree in human development at Cornell University, attended medical school at George Washington University, and completed a master's degree in international public health at Harvard University. I served my country for eight years as a flight surgeon in the United States Air Force. After many years away, it became clear to me that California is home. I enjoy working with my local community, both as a physician and as a volunteer for the Junior League and the LA Roadrunners.
About my practice
As a physiatrist, I specialize in physical medicine and rehabilitation. My practice is devoted to helping patients live well. My focus is on keeping patients as active as possible and helping them achieve the highest quality of life possible. Thank you for entrusting your care to me.
How I thrive
To maintain my own wellness, I love to run, especially marathons. I'm past number 40 and still counting, with my favorites being Los Angeles and Boston. After a run, you can find me on the couch, curled up with a good book and a great cup of coffee.
