Where I practice
Welcome to my page! I hope to share some information about myself and my practice philosophy here. I’m a firm believer in the Kaiser Permanente model of focusing on preventive medicine.
I grew up in China and immigrated to the United States while in high school. I went to college in Colorado. After graduation, I moved to Texas, where I completed my graduate studies in public health and my medical education as well. I also met my husband there. After I finished my residency training in Washington, DC, I started working at Kaiser Permanente in the Mid-Atlantic region. Due to my husband's job change, our family moved to San Diego. I really enjoyed working at Kaiser Permanente because of the electronic health record system and the progressive health care model. That's why I’ve chosen to continue to work at Kaiser Permanente in Southern California.
About my practice
I believe the key to health is prevention. Our team of health care workers including nurses, medical assistants, and other ancillary staff will help you keep up to date on disease screening. A large part of primary care medicine is ongoing disease management. My goal is to help you understand your conditions and to educate you on the necessary tools to help control them.
How I thrive
With San Diego's beautiful weather, and pristine beaches, we love to soak up the sun and hang out at the beach on weekends.
