Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page.
I am originally from India and aspired to be a doctor from a very young age. We did not have a physician in my family, but I was drawn to wanting to work in the healing profession. After coming to the States, I found special meaning in supporting and working towards curing patients with cancer and blood diseases. I have been working in the field of pediatric oncology sine 1996. After graduating from my fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, I worked at Children’s National Medical Center and Loma Linda Hospital prior to joining Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center.
About my practice
We are a group of three oncologists who are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We have both an inpatient and an outpatient practice. We have an excellent clinic staff and inpatient staff. We pride ourselves in maintaining a high quality of care and incorporate state of the art practice in our daily care. We are members of the Children’s Oncology Group. The pediatric oncology care we provide is enhanced with communication and collaboration with other Kaiser Permanente centers in Southern California, and with City of Hope and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. We also provide care for children with chronic blood diseases like sickle-cell and hemophilia. We have a regional comprehensive sickle-cell clinic at the West Los Angeles Medical Center.
How I thrive
I am a strong believer that for personal well-being there has to be a balance in mind, body, and spirit. I enjoy these three aspects of my life through work, family and relaxation. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, cooking, and travelling.
