Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and our members, and look forward to working with you to care for your health.
I was born in Taiwan. My family immigrated to the United States when I was 12 years old. I attended junior high and high school in Montclair. After high school, I went to Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and majored in chemistry. I’ve always had an interest in medicine. After receiving my undergraduate degree in 1990, I enrolled in Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. I finished my medical education in 1994. My interest was in internal medicine and primary care, but my heart was in California. Therefore, I decided to go to UC Irvine for my residency training in internal medicine. I applied for a position with Kaiser Permanente right after training because I’d grown up admiring this medical group. I’ve been fortunate enough to be with Kaiser Permanente since 1997.
About my practice
Our team here in Fontana includes physicians, nurses, and other professionals who provide compassionate care in a friendly and secure environment. We want to work with you to address your specific health needs and concerns.
How I thrive
I’m a strong believer in a well-balanced life. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children. My weekends are usually spent with my family, going to various parks or festivals. These activities bring me closer to my family and allow me to get some exercise by walking and hiking. I feel recharged and able to concentrate more at work after spending a weekend with my family.
