Where I practice
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I am glad to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you, and to share other information about my life and my work as a physician at Kaiser Permanente.
My family and I came to the United States as refugees when I was 18 years old. Prior to medical school, I spent five years working in cancer research and volunteering in emergency rooms. I decided to go into medicine because I recognized my desire to work more directly with people. I chose family medicine because the blend of clinic and procedure times, and the mix of patients of both sexes and of all ages are very appealing to me. While helping others to combat their illnesses, I learned to be motivating and understanding, committed to people, and above all, to be very patient.
About my practice
I truly believe that healthy lifestyle and preventative cares are the best ways to stay healthy, but as an urgent care physician, I am also here to help you when you are not well. I also believe in teamwork, and I look forward to having the privilege to be your partner in your health care.
How I thrive
I strive to stay healthy, both physical and intellectual, and I make sure to find time for nurturing both. I enjoy reading, watching movies, fishing, bicycling and hiking. Best of all, I enjoy spending time with my family, including my four-year-old son and newborn daughter.
